The project titled “Food safety for successful community events – Bostaniada 2013” was implemented in the period March 22, 2013 – October 8, 2013.
The event was a community effort with social aims to celebrate the harvest and splendour of the season, with a unique exhibition of the largest pumpkins, nature-inspired crafts, live music, and home-made food tasting and consumption. It took place on September 29 in Lozova village, Straseni region, Moldova.
The project included several activities which were aimed to improve Food Safety compliance at Bostaniada festival - 2013 and future community events in order to prevent and avoid food borne deseases. The major activity was training of women and men from Lozova community willing to sell their home made food during the festival.
During the training course, held on September 16-17 the participants learned food safety rules - hygiene and sanitation during preparationg, display and sampling of food. The training course was provided by Certified CCIPAM trainers: Tamara Schiopu and Irina Tugulea-Cudrea. The participants were supplied with thermometers, two colored cutting boards, citrus juicer, a Handbook, other informational materials.
We highly appreciate the active participation and dedication of Ms. Maria Ursachi, the Mayor of the Lozova village, in organisation of the venue for training, promotion of the training and registration of participants, and all other related activities.

18-19 September 2012, Chisinau, Moldova. Annual Conference of the Joint Operational Programme “Black Sea Basin 2007-2013” and European Cooperation Day. Around 150 participants were present at the conference from 8 programme countries (Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine). The conference gathered representatives of the European Commission, local, regional and national authorities, non-governmental organisations, project beneficiaries/partners, consultancy and research organisations from the EU member/candidate states and partner countries.

Conference organizer - Joint Information Center "Eurasia Inform" (Moldova). This is an annual event aimed at the analysis of the socio-economic integration of Moldova into the Eurasian Union initiated by Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, as well as in the formation of a specific institutional and legal framework of the integration.
